![]() NEW CALCINERS FOR AALPORG/PORTLAND CEMENT (DK)Two new calciners are designed and delivered by A TEC during the annual kiln stop in February/March 2017. The project aims to increase the production of grey clinker. A TEC is going to adapt the flow pattern of the calciner system in a way to improve the operation behavior of the system significantly. The design will be configured for the usage of 100% SAF with the lowest possible emissions.Read more. |

FINAL PHASE IN MANNERSDORFDuring the annual kiln stop up to 70 mechanics are on site and work on on the new calciner line at LafargeHolcim's plant in Austria.So far the preheater has been modified with a new kiln feeding system (50% per string) with re-using existing feed split. New meal pipes for cyclones O1A/O1B and new dip tubes in cyclones O3/V3 and O4/V4 have been installed. The kiln stop will last until the beginning of April. The project will be finished by then. |
