HURRICLONŽ, installed after the mill classifier, again proves to be the best technology for the mill product collection, providing top separation efficiency of up to 94% with low pressure drop around 60–70 mmWg.
We are the specialists for the modification of an open circuit grinding mill to a closed circuit mill with a high efficiency classifier and HURRICLONŽ to dedust the classifier exit gases.
With the installation of HURRICLONŽ instead of conventional cyclones, the pressure loss of the classifier circuit and the dust load in the gas to the classifier fan are reduced. The application of HURRICLONŽ increases the mill output, reduces energy costs, reduces wear rate of the classifier fan and improves the dedusting system.
Another application is the installation of HURRICLONŽ before EP or bag filter to reduce the dust contents at the filter inlet by up to 96%. This installation will relieve an “over- strained” filter from excessive dust load and increase considerably the lifetime of filter bags.
