The most modern Pyroprocess Pilot Plant

In the year 2003 A TEC erected a true-to-size cyclone simulation pilot plant at its Southern Austrian Gödersdorf location. This testing plant resembles a 2-stage cement suspension preheater tower and is used for research and development works on cyclone design to further optimize the efficiency of HURRICLON® and other cyclone types.

With this facility we are able to test cyclones of different geometries and under different operational conditions and to examine optimization of gas- and material flow characteristics in cyclones and peripheral ducts.

A TEC is proud to say that currently this pilot plant is unique, as it is worldwide the most modern facility of its kind.
