MBO of Zyklontechnik GmbH and privatisation under participation of Dr. Günther Schwaiger:

Take over of development project for new cyclones and cyclone dip tube guide vanes started 1992 in VOEST ALPINE Krems GmbH

1996 – 1999

• Marketing of new cyclones under trade mark HURRICLON®  and dip tube guide vanes internationally
• Cooperation with PMT – Gesteinsvermahlungstechnik GmbH name change to PMT – Zyklontechnik GmbH
• First cement Engineering projects including first preheater optimisation projects and first chlorine bypass realised
• Additional experienced engineers from former cement plant Engineering supplier ACT join to the company

2000 – 2006

Developing of company profile to Cement Engineering- and plant supplier further developed:

• 2000 Dipl. Ing. Friedrich Willitsch – former plant manager of Wietersdorf cement factory joins PMT – Zyklontechnik
• Engineering Company WEMA GmbH in Gödersdorf is merged to the company
• Start of alternative fuel preparation projects
• 2001 foundation of PMT-Zyklontechnik Asia Sdn. Bhd.
• 2003 most modern cyclone testing plant starts operation in Gödersdorf
• 2003 – 2004 development of 2^nd generation of HURRICLON® and HURRIVANE® based on practical references in combination with test results
• 2004 first inline calciner projects with low NOx emissions realised successfully
• 2005 Acquisition of manufacturing and installation compana Weigl, Eberstein, Carinthia
• 2005 Change of company name to A TEC to express company profile as Supplier of Advanced Process Technologies
• 2006 first new preheater with RSP – calciner successfully commissioned

2007

• A TEC is positioned as technologically leading in cement pyroprocess technology
• A TEC is specialised as Engineering partner for optimisation of existing cement plants , especially in the pyroprocess
• A TEC is further positioned as partner for development of new cement clinker and grinding plants as Engineering- and Project Management partner
• Austria TEC in Puebla Mexico is founded to serve the American cement industry market
